MUSCAT: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth (MoCSY) will review its key achievements and performance indicators for 2025 during its media meeting today, while also outlining its strategic directions, programmes and projects for the next phase across the culture, sports and youth sectors.
The meeting will highlight the ministry’s major accomplishments over the past year, including qualitative programmes and initiatives implemented across Oman. It will also review progress in digital transformation, international partnerships, and major national projects aligned with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The session will further focus on efforts to strengthen Omani cultural identity, empower youth, develop the sports sector, and support cultural and creative industries. It will also highlight improvements in service efficiency, infrastructure development, and the broader societal impact of cultural, sports and youth initiatives.
In addition, the meeting will unveil new programmes aimed at empowering young people and nurturing talent across various fields. Updates will also be shared on strategic initiatives, including the Sayyid Tarik bin Taimour Cultural Complex, the National Youth Strategy project, and expansion plans for youth centres across the governorates. – ONA
